I've tried both
I liked Source but i still play cs 1.6 :P

Yes they are a bit same.
Source need's high graphic cards.

But still i like 1.6 :P

If you are playing alone with bots then CSS is better and if you are playing online then CS 1.6 is better

Easy in terms of actual gameplay in killing and amount of horrible people that play that game.

Source looks much better, but the gameplay is not good as 1.6.
Therefore, 1.6 still after 10 years (2001-2011)

Source is way better.
An especailly since sv_pure is now disabled and materials are from steam servers, material hax dont work! ahaha. But good game. I do miss the shields from 1.6 though.

It's true source is a lot batter in graphics ect.., Because it's a better version of the
1.6, But i am gonna have to go with 1.6, You cant get the feel you do when you play 1.6 in source.
