Hmm!
I am not sure wether this method will work or not!
Never used ipboard

Anyway, do this:
Copy all the old forum id's from vbulletin.

Convert forum to ipboard in ur localhost or make backup first

Go to phpmyadmin and change the id's manually.
Maybe this should work up! :))

No idea about threadid! You may do so with all ur threads! XD

No I mean like for the forums not the threads, you can change the ID of the forum itsself, example, MarketPlace before was ID 5, you changed it to 6

Like he said you can do a change through phpmyadmin

BUT TOPICS will show up in all the wrong forums since the forum_id is imbeded in the topic record. :))

i already have the plugins, i just want to know how can i keep the same thread ids :(

If you ask on the ipb forum (http://community.invisionpower.com/), or search it there is definitely a reply by Mark somewhere where he posted a zip file with a old Vbulletin redirector to the new structure and the old topic numbers to new topic numbers, if i remember correctly both old and new numbers are stored in the db.

Not sure if it works for IPB3 but if you post a topic im sure he will help you with it.
