Being using this since quite a few days. I gotta say the service is awesome. Splitice helped me out throughout the setup.

Once I do tests on the site, I would report back the performance difference.

I just changed http://streamscene.me/ to use it, page load seem to have speeded up

I have only added it to index and movie page so far (js and images), I will add it to all pages tomorrow.

There are plugins to use CDNs in most scripts, im not sure about IPB since the plugin area of their forum is restricted to people with licences.

not really because at this stage you are limited to the domain cdn.x4b.org

In the future we will make it possible to use custom domains in this manner, but not yet sorry.

[EDIT] actually it would be pretty cool to host full sites on a CDN, in fact I like the idea i might see what I can code. Of course you would have to be sure you obeyed the laws of ALL the countries we host in. So no Porn (middle east) and nothing that could be encouraging infingement.

Benifits of a CDN. Total page time which is time from HTML download-> Last image/media byte. Measured on nexusddl for the past 7 days.

I just checked my site and CDN image isnt workin, I flushed the firewall and my account has >$1

lucky i made it so its only 1 edit to change images/JS back to the normal URL :D

Your account may have negatives due to the reverse proxy system, over a month ago we disabled it for around a week for a re-write of the billing code. When we re-enabled it all the bills from the last week where applied pushing some people into negatives.

As it says on the page. changes to the CDN will take up to 3 minutes to take effect on the main server hence why the image is fine now. And if you access it before then, incorrect data MAY be cached in which case it will take an hour to refresh.
