most old paypal users doesn't have a gift option, since there is a certain restriction to the number of times you can send payments as gifts. try using payments owed, this is what we use for most transactions at wjunction (no fees).

yes that's what I mentioned to Ciwan. Indian PayPal dont have option of Gift anyway.
