Gud question, but not to be asked according to me!

Do what you are interested into! If you are a computer freak like want to do much in this field go for it! I am into Computer Science right now coz i love computers!

You cannot get a decision from others but u will have to choose what you want to and what you are capable of!

Sorry if that was a lecture but that was from my past experience!

Coming to some best courses, Mech is everlasting and Communication is the second top according to me! Every branch is unique in its own way!!
 
Depends on what do you want to do ... I was in the same situation.

Mechanical Engineering : You will work with big machines , hydraulics and things like that.
Electrical Engineering : Electrical Wiring , Household Equipment , etc
Computer Engineering : Building Computers and Software

In the end I chose Automatization and Applied Computer Science. It's like an AIO of all 3 options you listed.
 
I am preparing my mind for computer engineering. But Local people told me that due to certain degrees like BCA, MCA, scope of computer engineers is going down.

thats why i am thinking for mechanical engineering.

Which is better if we think scope wise
 
Actually computer engineering has another two branches software and hardware engineering, choose the one that suits you best.

Personally I always hated electricity and hardware, so software engineering worked best for me :)
 
Go for Mechanical if you want to get real practical experience.
Though I'm doing Electronics Engg, but I think Mech rocks!
 
comp eng is going down. hard to get a job... go for Elect. engr (power) it will last as long as the world has electricity. Mech engr is also good, you can end up designing mechanical parts, or auto mobile design, could get a job on BMW. lol

p.s: i am Elect Engr. major in microwave,wireless com
 
i always wanted to get into computer engineering but atm the field is bit down in uae
so im going for aero space engineering

go for the branch which u have interest in .. if choose ur branch by other people's choice,u may regret it later if u find it difficult .
 
I'm in Industrial Electronics branch.
This field has little little information on almost every branch of engineering.

So go for electronics ;)
