Best way to get traffic?

i am very new to the whole forum admin scene.

i am running www.s00perforums.com it is an 18+ forum space.

my biggest question is that for such a kind of anything goes forum, what is the best way to advertise and increase traffic / registration?

should i purchase paid to install ad space or pay for click?
essentially i want help figuring how to get the biggest bang for my buck.

any information is really helpful. thanks in advance

You have no categories, you are not going to get any traffic without content. Also, you have 182 member with nothing on your site, fake members ? There is no point in using fake members.

Maybe is a registration required forum?


and mike at least make the categories show, they are all hidden, you can still make them show but still require registration to view them. someone who visits your site might say hmmm theres nothing here, time to leave.
 
the forum is totally empty !
bro add some categories you can refer pornbb.org ! just go through that so ll have an idea whet to do?
A content is must for new registrations !
for time being keep email verification off so you ll get registration faster (thats my strategy) ,

I doubt is empty:
Threads: 132, Posts: 5,155, Members: 184, Active Members: 184

he just has it private to the maximum where you cant even see the categories which is a bad idea. must at least show visitors the categories available

no my forum isnt empty. it does require registration to see teh categories. i do really need to remove that, could cause people not to sign up since they dont see anything.
 
Yes mate and doing that wont hurt you at all at the moment is hurting you as a guest cannot even see what you offer. at least make the sections viewable but not readable by guests...


How?

in the guests forum permissions do this:

Can View Forum: Yes
Can View Threads: Yes
Can View Thead Content: No (<< users will have to sign up to read thread)

do you think that makes a big difference? the other lady who i manage the forum with like that better than email validation. since it is small currently it is easier to just accept the user or hand check to see if they are spammers.
