VPS Backup Transfer

hello guys i m a warez site and it is currently on shared hosting and i wanna buy VPS so how do i transfer my whole site from shared hosting to VPS??
what is the method?pls help me
is it easy or not?

if you still after a cpanel then it will cost a extra $15 with any vps you get but if you dont want to be paying out $30 or more for a vps with cpanel then get a semi dedi which about $15 and they more powerfull but they do have different prices depending on bandwidth

What control panel do you use? It could make it easier.

If not, download or compress a copy of your whole home directory, the one with your data.
Then export all your databases, download them.

Then import and copy things to the VPS.

If you need a control panel and need be free, I suggest ISPConfig, here a tutorial to install. I installed im my vps yesterday and works great . IF you need some help, can talk with me.

well it's impossible bro but if you have a warez site or sites ,of course you can transfer your sites from shared to VPS in no time and it's easy

hello supernova,

If you are on shared hosting there are two ways of transferring your website.

1 -- make a full backup of your website via cPanel, then upload it to your VPS, and then import it via WHM (of course you will need cPanel on your Shared Hosting & VPS).

2 -- if you don't care about all your settings and such (emails, ftp accounts, etc) and all you care about are your databases and files, you can just log into PHPMyAdmin, export all your Databases, then zip your public_html file.
Upload those to your new VPS, and then import them via either a panel, or SSH.

Depending on your new VPS Host (I would recommend OpenVServers) -- they may or may not be able to transfer your website for free.
