My wordpress blog has ~10-20 seconds loading time for each page right now.
I need to back it up once more so I can move it to another server, is it any good way to do this?
What I am intending to do is to use backwpup to grab most things and then use FTP to get the all the images. (10 GB images)
I started with backwpup but it is so slow that I think it will timeout and fail to backup, I dread taking 10 GB of images from it when it is so overloaded also.
I am thinking about if I can disable access for my users somehow, but not sure how to do that.
Maybe I should point the domain name to google or something while I back it up.
EDIT: It might actually work without doing it.

EDIT 2: FTP seems to have worked fine, it was a mistake to make this thread it was going better than I expected (even if the backup took 10 times as long as normal). Can't find any delete button so cant remove it, sorry.
