I'm not sure but since some months, Avaxhome have been changed is mind, new people have enter the staff and the atmosphere has become not so cool.
First proves is about all those tries to forcing viewing the adverts in the modification the source-code, the eternal fight with addblocker but no way, addblock(adblock & others) were stronger and Avax don't win enough money with adverts to pay servers, ips, security,...
Second prob is the attitude of visitors which were no more attracted to buy premium accounts(uploaders crying about no sales since weeks or month) when they have so many choices of free download, then the quality of posts were not many since some months, most uploaders have create their own site with their own rules about one and unique download with limit of time of free download(after that the link become premium). I think they gives some ideas to future Avaxhome project.
and many other probs of security...(too many 404 pages, and slow site)
with all those probs, Avaxhome has no other choice to survive, to modify their rules, after 10 years of free download.
Now Avaxome is more secure & more professional. Premium links will replace the adds (where kick from the site), no more adverts!
about Nitroflare, the site is still working fine and Nitroflare is supported by many others sites. Avaxhome have done his job, giving some popularity to Nitroflare in being partner for some years, more than others filehosters(like keep2share). About those with still have Nitroflare premium account, they can find others sites to use their Nitroflare Account; it's not really the same case as a dead filehosting, like for example for those who remember the dead site like filesonic or Megaupload who say Fuck to all there partner and all those premium accounts, what do you prefer?

we will see, if this "new" premium model works out for avax...
I think many downloaders are pissed these early days, and the download rates will be lower atm,
so the PPD sales are lower for the uploaders...
some possible options:
a) icerbox begins to support download for free users
b) downloaders (and later uploaders?) will move from avax to other sites
c) avax users will buy icerbox premium
