Hi!

I'm currently working on my site www.AVIHeaven.com which I hope to be able to sell sometime soon. I will just add a lot of content to it ++.

I want to know the following:
- Is the domain a good domain name?
- What would you give for a site like this (inc. domain + site)
- How could I improve the design? (template, but modified)
- and everything else you would like to comment :).

First of all fix your link, it redirects to: "http://www.wjunction.com/www.AVIHeaven.com"

For a site like that, probably I'd give you about 3-5 bucks if the domain is included.

Nope.

Now lets get serious:

a) Make a new logo.
b) Fix the position of katz.cd image by centering or by move it.
c) Fix your navigation links or get a new navigation bar and put them all on it.
d) Get that "green" dirt off your site, it's annoying.
 
Domain name is very cool. It has nice meaning, basically you are making your site a heaven for .avi files. That's good.

For SEO, It's not good to be honest. Who will search "avi heaven" keyword? No one? I guess. So you can't compete for some good keywords. Even though, you can get great position for some keywords if you don't have one of the words in your domain name.

Now about the design. Partners block should be removed at the moment. I like the navigation in the header, with the genres of movies. It's cool.

Katz button isn't fitting in the template. But it can be sorted out easily.

I like that "Download" button that was Read more before. It's looking quite better.

Search should be at the top somewhere. Background is great.

Logo sucks, add something that's kinda more 'heaven' style?

Thing is that this blog has a lot of potential. Great idea, great template that can be easily customized.

Thanks for the tips! I will go ahead and work with the SEO later today to improve it, and the partners block will be removed aswell. I will try to find a better location for t he Katz button, and move the search bar. The logo will be changed aswell :)!

I love the domain, it fits in perfectly with what the site is all about. You're providing a great place to find AVI downloads.

It all depends on how much traffic you get. You can only determine the value of a site by looking at its traffic.

Ditch this bar at the bottom of the page, it's annoying. I would definitely get a new logo and favicon, will make the site look a wee better. Also, move the Katz banner to the right, it looks randomly placed where it is. Reduce the size of these texts and make buttons for em so it they look better.

I like the concept of the site, it'd be nice to have an awesome blog where you can download AVI's instead of RAR's.

You're on the right track man, just keep it going for a couple months and you can sell it for a good price.

Also, seeing as how you are submitting to a DDL, why not submit to multiple, good DDL's? It can only help you.
 
Thanks for the lovely suggestions everyone :).
I'm fairly new to the DDL world so I guess I should learn more about it asap. Gotta find the best DDLs so my site ain't ruined with buttons.
