This is what happen:

The kid and my brother starting arguing about something in the bar. (Not exactly sure)
The kid got kicked out of the bar for starting a fight.
The kid went to his car changed his shirt and re-entered the club/bar impersonating a totally different person.
He somehow found my brother again and started shit again.
When the club/bar got out, everyone was outside getting ready to go home.
The guy went up to my other brother (Edwin Rodriguez, mentioned in the article) and threatened to kick his ass.
My other brother stepped in for my brother Edwin and told the kid, he didn't know who he was fucking with to leave "or else".
The kid punched my brother Edwin in the face and next thing you know it was a brawl of over 20 people fighting.
In the midst of it all, my brother Jose ended up stabbing the kid in the abdomen and wounded the kids friend with a stab wound to the leg as well.
I guess after stabbing the kid, my two brothers beat the kid to a pulp.
The guy died where he lay from massive blood loose due to the beaten and stab wound.
My brother was sentenced to 7 years in maximum prison and everyone else beat the case.
He see's the parole board in April and might come home. If not he has one more year left.

Not going to comment on what your brother did, there is no way that we could say any of us wouldn't have done the same thing. I don't see a murderer and think, "he's a murderer, he should be killed or in prison for life", or whatever. Every case is different, people who just kill people for the sake of killing, they should be in prison for life, but in certain circumstances, there should be some leniency shown. I am not condoning any type of crime or murder, but I am saying he could have had his own personal reasons. For those that think they are better than everybody else, you're telling me that if someone raped your Mother, or killed your little baby brother, you wouldn't want revenge? Not saying this is what happened, but don't judge people unless you have led a clean life yourself.

Hope he is well Rick, and you get him home soon.
