Anyone willing to share a seedbox?

I'd like to utilise a seedbox to get my ratio up on 2 private trackers. However, I won't be using it really intensively so paying $20 or more a month for it wouldn't be worth it for me. So, essentially, I was hoping I can find someone here who's willing to share the costs. My only demand is that you are not a member of Audionews or Gfxnews, as they don't allow more than 1 account per IP (I'd rather not get banned).

And for the people here who offer seedboxes and are in the mood to set up a nice package: I think I'll be using ~20 torrents at once, max, I don't really care alot about speed.

For omnipotent wizards: Would it be wise to scour the web for a cheap managed VPS host and host both ruTorrent and my (really small scale) website on it? Or would this impact my speed in a very bad way?

Thank in advance.

To be honest, i would prefer to search for the cheapest possible which will suits your needs, never share a seedbox it will/may get abused.

Tip: sharing a seedbox, they have access to your private passkey.

You have a point there... I have like 800GB uploaded combined on those sites... To me that's a lot, and I wouldn't like to lose that ever...

@l0calhost

Care to share? I've come across some, but those don't offer a unique IP, which I do need, because both trackers will ban on multiple acc's on 1 IP.

Trackers only ban you if you login with the same IP address, they will not ban you for downloading/uploading with the same IP address as another user.

They hate duplicate accounts.

I don't think they will ban you. Most good seeders use seedboxes, even the admins of such sites, and they will rather prefer it if you seed 50gb from a seedbox rather than 5gb from your PC. Think. And also make it clear with those staffs, I think you've misunderstood. No IP sharing means no duplicate accounts. But you can always seed from the same IP as someone else, who cares?

What you are saying does make sense, I will check again with the staff.

I got these replies (from staff):

It is permitted to use a 'seedbox' and many, many of our members already do. However, the type you mention is not allowed for the very reason you suspect i.e. it will appear that you all have multiple accounts and you will be banned.
I can't answer anything related to audionews..

But your first link here should answer your question for gfxnews. We won't automatically ban you for having the same IP, however we might. So you are risking you account here if you share a seedbox and it's recommended that you do not share one.

If you're referring to a seedbox system where there is one server, with multiple slices (separate seedboxes) where each member logs into his/her own seedbox slice, there is still some risk. Normally if two users are on the same server and download the same torrent in this situation, the tracker will get conflicting information, which will probably be ignored, meaning you won't get any upload credit, and again you're more likely to be flagged as having multiple accounts. However it is less likely in this situation that someone on the same server, but a different slice, will be on all the same trackers as you, including gfxnews, and also less likely that they will download the same torrents as you. So your risk in this situation goes down.

So if you're planning to use a seedbox here, I would strongly suggest the latter method.

I've used one with slices in the past, and had no problems. They are available as low as $17/month for 130GB of storage and around 1.5 TB of bandwidth, (going over 2TB bandwidth in one month will get your seedbox account disabled).
I'm not taking the risk.
