Dedicated Anyone used online.net?

A few days ago I found really really cheap dedi's at online.net, but I'm quite sure somethings not right there. A dedicated for ~20eur is pretty much impossible.

soit 17,93€ TTC 14,99 € HT


So its 18 euros with some taxes included, on a gigabit port, with unlimited BW. They offer all OS, including windows.
Did anyone ever use them? Is there someone that knows french and that can analize their site a bit?

You cannot use much BW with a single core atom 1.6Ghz anyway, 1Gbps line is just a trick.

Nope, neither of that. That's why I'm asking for a french person, so he could translate the TOS to us and check their site a bit.

My French is rusty, but it seems they don't have any live support, only IRC chat which is full with clients i guess.
Their phone number is also not a land-line phone but some special number. I can't call without charge.

But they are a big company, so why not? Burst is giving out servers for $35, why wouldn't they?

Yeah that may be true, but you understand that Dedi is crap right? A VPS is much better since you are using a Quadcore. This Via Nano processer is capable to load an index.html nothing more.

Im sure there is PayPal as a payment method. ou just have to register first and then et the payment options.
And yes, you can use the server from all over the world.

They only sell to French Citizens.

So unless you are French, living in France, or know someone in France who can purchase it for you (reseller) then you can't order.

I have a sister who is studying in Paris during this year so probably i will test their services soon. Anyway i´m not very excited because Online.net was Dedibox in the past and they cap the servers to 10Mbps if you exceed 1TB/Week so...

Okay guys, but I wasn't thinking of that 1st dedi package they have. With ~30 euros you get a much better one, with a 100mbps line? Unlimited 100mb/s bandwidth in France for 30 euros? There's gotta be something bad about it...

Perfmafrost, are you sure they're the same guys from the old service? That's very probable that they cap their BW then, otherwise they wouldn't have where to pay from. And it's 4+ TB's a month, if you don't use it for RL & torrents [which I don't know if they allow], shouldn't be so low.
