Most of the members here in Wj was complaning about katz when katz died. katz force them to add big buttons and they had very strict rules. katz was not strict at all as you can see know katz did send us a hell of a lot of traffic.
Now look what's happening with this small ddl sites they are more harder and stricter than katz.
katz is much better than all this ddl site around Katz is just the best

I have fully respect to the katz's owners as they had one so much for Warez! BUT there is no more katz sadly.
anyway i'm wondering to know is it really weird that we are going to continue and keep growing the scene ?
Bullshit to anyone who thinks the rules are more strict that Katz. They are far more relaxed and you have far more options and choice. That's one thing I've always made sure that the rules are not as strict as the ones Katz had and if ye think these are more strict that Katz then ye have serious memory issues so let me remind you.

When FileSonic is as big as the others it will be Primary. Until then stop saying it's the one Downloaders like the most without proof
- Katz had far more strict submit title rules
- Katz had a choice of only two Premium File hosts for ages. That's a choice of one of two. We have two out of 5 for premium. If you can't do the maths on that close the browser.
- Katz had about half the secondary file hosts to chose from and we plan on adding even more too over time.
- Katz had far more strict rules on the number of text links which was 10 while we're allowing 12
- Katz only allowed 4 image buttons while we're allowing 6.
- Katz had massive image buttons for 1-3 star sites and it had to be in the header.

Shouldnt you work on traffic before trying to adopt katz style rules?
I dont submit to any DDLS because of crappy rules like these, and im sure many other people dont aswell.

Just a couple observations..judging by the Alexa graph fso will likely equal rs in next couple months. So when that happens, does fso get added as primary? @ Whoo, and if MF is good enough to be considered primary over fso, why is it not advertised in Twilight's header, when fso is? "Free Downloads from RapidShare, Hotfile, Megaupload, FileServe, FileSonic" Don't get me wrong, I respect y'alls rights to make rules to suit your own views, but I also think Two primaries is overkill. Even ONE small concession to make it ONE Primary for 4* and under, then Two primaries for 5* would likely make many here that are complaining at least a bit more understanding..just my opinion.

bx, seems to me the graph tells the story..rs going down steadily while fso making a rather sharp rise. Not much space between the 2 already. But you could be right about not in two months exactly...then again that was not my main point. Also I wasnt knocking MF, just making a simple point. All I know is I rarely see MF links anywhere

If u cant keep FSO because of the alexa ranking so u too develop the rank which katz had to add such rulesX-(
I think ur traffic is lesser than even FSO.
The statement you just made is completely retarded. Katz didn't have the same amount of alexa compared to Rapidshare but still they could make those rules. What Mr Happy showed was the popularity of the different file hosts and clearly explains that FO is < than all other primary file hosts.

Remember guys it just doesn't have to pass Rapidshare. Hotfile is dropping really fast now too. As soon as FileSonic overtake any existing Premium File Host it will go Premium itself. It just doesn't have to be Rapidshare. I think it could pass Hotfile before Rapidshare.
I can't say 100% yes as you never know what will happen. As long as they don't do something crazy like completely remove free downloads, sell the servers to the FBI or something else completely stupid then ya it will be made primary.

No sorry that's a google trends graph and your not comparing them on the same graph. The y-axis is relative on the graph so you have a false comparison. I'm not sure if you follow what I'm saying but it's like rating giving someone 9 out of 10 and then giving someone else 11 out of 100. The 9 out of 10 is better but 11 having a higher number may confuse you.
