In what could be the latest example of smartphone one-upsmanship, a new report says Amazon is developing a no-glasses, 3D smartphone. The retailing giant has been rumored for some time to be working on a line of branded phones, but this is the first time 3D capability has been mentioned.

The report, in The Wall Street Journal, said that the Seattle-based company is also developing an audio-only, Wi-Fi streaming device. Amazon owns Audible, the publisher of audio books and other audio content. The publication cited "people familiar with the company's plans."

The Journal said the high-end, 3D device would use retina-tracking to enable images to appear hologram-like, although the device would not actually be using that technology, with images floating above the screen and appearing from all angles to be three-dimensional. In fact, the sources told the paper, the retina-tracking may allow users to navigate through content simply by moving their eyes.

Amazon is taking over the world.

They are also secretly in negotiations to purchase the entire Best Buy chain and turn all locations into local Amazon shops with real products from their fulfillment centers as well as where you will be able to pick your items up that you purchase from online (for universal discounts on shipping).

Amazon also has been aggressively selling almost all products now. What was once a free market for sellers to distribute and compete against one another (outside of books) has become a competition against Amazon Incorporated.

The company also isn't the brightest of the bunch. If the lowest price on Amazon for an item is $20 Amazon will have no problem listing theirs for $10 just to severely undercut and demolish competition to smitherines.

Furthermore Amazon has reportedly been involved in intense talks with the United States government for immunity against certain tax exemptions in exchange for compliance with the ever aggressive push by local, state and federal governments to implement mandatory taxes on all items sold. Even if the item is used and has already been previously taxed outright once originally purchased.

The only thing slightly holding this giant at bay is the bay literally. eBay is the only advocate truly refusing these aggressive measures against us the distributor and buyer.

Ultimately I think I have found yet another article to write.... "eBay the last sellout".

Thanks for the share. Interesting read and I hope their cellphones are all glitched. Down with this greedy company!

Oh no, I'm already tired of kids staring endlessly in their phones, and now this! Imagine everybody in the train with their holograms. Like Brazilian carnival
