It's not wrong, it's called burst.
you can do that with vps's.
if there are unused resources on the VPS, your vps can use it until it is needed by another VPS. (there are more than enough resources on the server to handle this, as the servers are never oversold).

Nothing phishy about it =]

I know it is burst. But it is not like you will ever get 4000 mb burstable in the first place. lets say he has a leet server dual quad xeon with 16 gb ram. My best bet if he sells the vps's at 12 50 and the server will cost about 200-300 vucks a month then in order to make profit he will need to sell 20 -35 vps
20*512 = 10 gb ram 6 gigs left dont see anywhere where you can get a 4 gig burst >.<

that's why openvservers is a good host =]

they are able to do that, if they weren't he would not advertise!

And you do not know the cost of his servers, nor how he sets his prices so you cannot compare from what your friend says.

I think i can considering my friend owns a dual quad xenon with 16 gb and pays 200+ from limestone
 
newest bid is 17$ a month for this from HostmyWarez think we might have a winner..
