Site and system:
The site is running on Wordpress and is set up on my server. This site is basically an auto-blog which means that you don't have to invest any time into getting the content. You really have about 30 minutes of work per week to manage the site. And all that work consists of just managing the Wordpress system (updating the plugins and themes, and eventually checking if every part of the auto-blog is working properly).
The content:
Content is based on a few RSS feeds and is posted on the site few times a day. You can change this number, but I suggest that you leave it on maybe 10-15 posts per day so that you don't get the reputation of a spammer. When each post is automatically submitted and posted, the site also spreads that post on some social networks. Mainly it posts them on Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest but you can add some other networks if you want. You can also add other RSS feeds to the system and this may get you a lot more content in no time at all. There are around 5.200 published posts and around 2200 posts which are scheduled for posting and you are getting new content every week.
How does it work:
The script is crawling the RSS feeds once per week and it is getting posts for your blog. One feed can get you around 20-30 posts, and there are usually 10-15 feeds on the script so you will get around 300-400 posts per week which will automatically be set up as drafts and will also have tags inserted into every draft. When you get the drafts, another script will schedule them for posting and it will post around 15 posts per day. When the post is made, another script will publish your post on your social accounts with proper tags and #tags. So, you will not have any trouble with getting the content.
The traffic:
The sites are getting around 1200-1600 unique hits per day and the traffic is coming mostly from those social sites, and also from Google as there are a lot of indexed posts on the website. Google Analytics image.
Monetization:
I have removed the ads from my site, but at the time I had them on the site, I made around $60 in 2 weeks with no effort at all. If you invest some time into proper monetization (paysites, camsites or signups) you could earn much more than me.
What do you get:
