Since Google is now ignoring meta keywords, what other stuff do you guys do to properly SEO your websites?

Google has not ignored meta keywords. It's still active and that's the way bots can crawl your website.

You are right. Meta keywords are obsolete now and google bot ranks pages based on content. you know, they say content is the king.

for seo onpage, keyword density in your article and proper heading tag

keywords play important role in website optimization. Without keywords, you can do SEO properly. Your brand and websites can recognize in the search engines through keywords.

I don't believe that Goggle is ignoring meta keywords in my opinion but other things I do to perform proper SEO for my website are forum posting, blogging, contacting (permission e-mailing only) websites and creating videos on Youtube if possible.
