i have got on my website 60k members with 0 posts should i remove them ?

then i will have 9k users left

Just delete the ones who have never logged in or havent logged in in over a year or so.

I think you should. Their not real members as you just added a hacked database with 60k members. They don't know the site exists and won't come back. Just remove them and yes you can just prune them.

Why not send a massmail, it helps a lot. Espescially when your site is new, you shouldnt delete them creating a community takes time, and people will register quicker if you see you have 60k members.

mass mail is a no no will slow the server down and get the site on spam filters

and smartboy why sould i have to?

mr happy yes it was a hacked db with 50k members which i did not no was hacked

got rid of 10k so far and thats 10k so far just removing members with 0 posts

also deleted 1000's of posts and topics

if there was a way to remove the whole hacked db i would have but i did not back my site up before hand

You can delete from phpmyadmin
Go to Phpmyadmin in You sitye control panel then go to users & delete users
