Technically, they (he) can come online once per hour for a minute every hour, that still covers 24/7. ;)

Its not 60/60/24/7 XD
 
I actually have a pretty strong disdain for "live support", because no matter what company it is, or what staff they claim to have, it's always one of two things:

1) A reply that comes from someone who has no knowledge or authority on anything relating to the business you're contacting

2) Is offline

For example, even rackspace, if you talk to their live sales support, they have no idea what their services cost, and are just there to make sure you don't waste the time of the real sales staff. Even smaller companies who legitimately have 24/7 support, it is very rare that I see the "live support" option ever actually say online.
