Just checked my paypal account and found I have received $2.50 from 1and1.
I had registered a domain and not paid a single cent for it, and also had removed my payment info from my 1and1 panel because of their crap service
I know that's not a huge amount, still they must have stated some reason (refund, offer,etc)

Looks like, the time has come when domain registrars pay you to buy their domains :P
