123Systems hosting review

I signed up here just to warn you guys of 123systems. This looks like a great community to hang out in and I will be posting here and there.

I recently purchased a vps hosting account from 123systems.net, and everything was going smooth for the first few days. After then, I had my game server (Minecraft) with 10 users on a 2 GB RAM high end VPS and it started lagging. Disk I/O has dropped to 20 MB/s, which is suppose to get 200-400 MB/s. The CEO (Andrew) was very aggressive and rude to me, and never admitted his wrong-doing.



They started to ignore my support tickets, I have a support request for 4 days without any response as of now.



Overall, Horrible Downtime, Horrible Support, Horrible Performance, and Horrible Attitude. Steer away from 123Systems.net

May I ask which plan you were on?

EDIT: Ok, just re-read that you had 2GB. I really don't see how they could guarantee you 200-400MB/s on the disks on that sort of plan especially since they're a budget provider. Make sure you look for a company that can provide you with a decent CPU limit as well, you generally get what you pay for!

EXACT same thing just happened to me. Everything was great then it went to shit. They said there is network issues but I'm doubting they'll be resolved.

What a crappy host. You should always check for reviews before taking up hosting.

Do you work for them or something? Anyways they just started to fix some of my issues but I'm moving anyway.

A customer can bear downtime but support should be best for a customer that will reduce customer's frustration. Sad to know that you had a bad experience with them. Wish you best of luck with your new host.
