It all depends on your definition of a geek. Geek doesn't have to be a Webmaster or a Programmer.
In my eyes, geek is someone who spends most of his time (in some cases they spend all day) Online, watching movies/series, playing video games. Learning new things, obsessing over some small stuff.
Of course, not everyone becomes a geek because he likes to be Online, or because he likes to develop/maintain Websites. Usually, it's a lot deeper than that.
Social anxiety, paranoia, depression, are some of the reasons why people become "geeks".
And people with such problems can't have a normal relationship with someone. That's the only reason why I said that geeks can't steal anyone's girlfriend. Not because they're ugly, it's just because some of them don't have the courage, self confidence, the will. And other things that are important for the social interaction.
