If anybody here has received money from NL to an American bank, can you say how much you were charged for transaction fees?

Just like the time they charged 2 EUR for Paypal payment but didn't actually pay the transaction fees with it and Paypal still took its own 4.5% share of the transaction! ;)

LOL, is this a joke or sth? They're now gonna hold the money for 90 days to protect themselves from charge-backs? What if the sold account is a one-month account? Or a 2-day one? The buyer can't request a charge-back after his premium period has finished, so why in the hell should they keep the...

MU was a PPD host, not PPS; high speed for free users is great for PPD, not PPS. MU also had ads.

How many people want to sue stopfilelockers

Wow, such a nicely-written message, I doubt among each one million pirate, even one would be able to write such a message. Paypal receives 10-20 of such emails from different people and they'll stop working with that guy, but it's kinda late now. Where is the source of that message?

^ Yes, they still ban accounts which get too many DMCAs.

    Account Limited on Paypal

What exactly happened before your account got limited? Did you receive payment from a filehost or sth? Though I can't think of any filehosts that still pays through Paypal.

    oron is down

^Maybe but most definitely nearly all of their users were using Paypal to receive payments because it was and still is the most convenient way to receive and send money online. Apart from that, all payment processors will have to get some kind of proof from their users before processing for...

If AdultKing could do anything about Netload, he had already done so; in fact, he has done whatever he could but since NL is complying with Paypal's new rules, nothing happened to them. Some people say that Paypal doesn't allow mass payments; maybe NL had sent too many payments on the day their...

    oron is down

You understand that by having an uploader's Paypal address, they actually have all his info, don't you? There is a court order involved here; if asked, Paypal will have to disclose the uploader's personal info and the bank account/credit card info used to validate the account, etc.

Are you sure you can download it? I just tried both as a premium user and as a guest user, the link showed up as dead in both cases. I had previously seen certain cases in which a link was dead but DF didn't show it as dead when you opened the link but as you chose your download method (free or...

Yup, their Paypal is back and it seems its the same account as before but I'm not sure; there is really no reason for Paypal to limit them because obviously they must have had agreed to Paypal's new conditions that they could survive so long. AdultKing's celebration didn't last long! :)) Now we...

DF's reaction doesn't matter, what matters is the reaction of the copyright holder, if they send DMCAs to DF to get your files deleted, you'd be eventually banned, if not, then you're safe. Sample link?

Oh great, shit hit the fan at last; the only host that still had Paypal is now in trouble too. I at least hope they had been smart enough not to keep all their money in their Paypal account.

Strange, are you a premium user? Maybe they're completely blocking MP4 files uploaded by free users but allow such files be uploaded by premium users as long as the MD5 is not blacklisted. Check the TVshow section on RLSLOG, you'd see so many MP4 links you'd be surprised. I personally have...

    I got a DMCA notice from H*file

The file don't have to be the same, two completely different files can have the same MD5 hash, this is called a "collision". When a copyright holder reports a file, its MD5 hash is added in Hotfile's blacklisted MD5s list and every other file with the same MD5 hash will be deleted from their...

Then there must a blacklisted word in the file name, I can link you to hundreds of MP4 files uploaded on NL recently. P.S. Did you encode the files yourself? Because I can't think of any other way you could be sure the files had not been uploaded before.

    I got a DMCA notice from H*file

MD5 is a 128-bit hash function which means that in each (2^128)+1 files, at least two of them will have the same MD5 hash. That is a very big number but considering the number of different files being passed around through the internet, it's not impossible for one of your legitimate files to...
