Looks nothing like it. Thats like saying yahoo search looks like google search, Or Youtube looks like Vimeo. They offer the same service and run on basically the same engine so they are going to look similar. And here is their old version...

How are you planning on keeping both URLS? If you are running mod_rewrite (changing the url to ignore the extension) then google will index that.
