That looks like the Q8200 which is not a VT processor so that explains why it didn't work for you.

I've never used Xen on OVH but I don't see why you couldn't get Xen working. It's just like any other server once you get a vanilla OS on it.

You cant use the default OVH partitioning. You need to wipe the partitions when doing the PXE install.

TheTorrentSeller, I've already commented that it is possible. It's not easy but i've done it to a few OVH servers now. vgnheart, I would suggest using CentOS for the node. Make sure to redo partitioning when doing the PXE install.

HyperVM should not be used anymore. Period. After the serious issues in the past with it, and then the developer killing himself, it's totally possible for it to still have bugs. OVH also only has a custom kernel available in there various builds. You can not "Just install HyperVM or SolusVM"...
