Delete the entire folder ... not just the install.php Else, anyone would be able to access your install folder and intentionally disturb your forum by downgrading your vb version. I made that mistake once ... So I don't want people to do the same mistake. Delete the entire install folder.

If the skin is compatible to 3.7.3 .. it is generally compatible to 3.7.X Meaning you can use it on 3.7.4 as well. The hacks and mods are made for major changes .. like for example 3.6.x or 3.7.x So any hack that is 3.7.x will work for your forum.
