Except if you're a customer of Vuze, a company you bought. If you didn't buy their customer base, what exactly did you buy? You didn't buy their good reputation, because it's trashed now, it's worth nothing. If you did buy their customer base, it's your responsibility to refund or provider...

Maybe they're reporting both, and FS don't care? Or HF are manually checking new and popular files and deleting them if they're against the TOS?

The domain was registered only a few hours before Vuze died. Odd, that. Considering Vuze folded because of money problems, leaving customers without services or their files, and the fact that on the Vuze website they're directing customers to Hydrode's services.

I guess it could just be that HF are more on top of deleting files that break TOS. Question: How much do you earn on those files before HF delete them? Is it still worthwhile making a HF mirror, even if the link only lasts 24 hours?

Minimum 320kbps? That's the maximum bitrate an MP3 can be.

Software raid has the advantage that it's all in software. ;) If your raid hardware dies, you can run the array on any hardware, you don't need to replace it with something with the same chipset.

I don't see any option on their website for anything other than "Windows Server 2008 R2" - no mention of 64 or 32 bit. I'm not sure what virtualisation they're using, but if it's Hyper-V, I'm pretty sure it only supports 64-bit OSes. That'd make sense too, considering the amount of ram the node...
