What would you improve first on a growing Streaming site?

Hey everyone,

I've been working on CineWatch.top since 2025. It's grown quite a bit since we started — currently around 104.7K movies and 23.4K TV shows, with a focus on expanding coverage across different countries and their local genres.

We're at the point where simply adding more content isn't the biggest challenge anymore. The bigger question is what should we improve next?

If you were running a site at this stage, would you focus more on:

  • SEO and organic traffic
  • Search and content discovery
  • UI/UX and mobile experience
  • International/country coverage
  • Better genres and categories
  • Recommendations and metadata
  • New features or a broader scope
I'd especially like to hear from webmasters who have experience growing larger content-driven sites. What actually made a difference for you, and what wasn't worth the effort?

If you'd like to have a look at the project: https://cinewatch.top

I'm genuinely open to criticism too. If you spot something confusing, poorly designed, missing, technically questionable, or simply unnecessary, feel free to point it out.

We're still developing CineWatch, so good ideas can actually influence what we work on next.

If this were your site, what would you improve first?

Your website looks great.

But as a certified copywriter and conversion specialist I can tell you that my opinion or any other opinion doesn't really matter compared to the opinion of your target audience.

So try to always look at your content/design from their perspective not a technical one...

The most effective move is to test the basics first to improve the user experience of your visitors.
From the top of my head I suggest these first :

-Test then increase the speed of your website on a regular basis whenever you can even by few seconds.

-Always test how it looks on mobile for the average visitor from your target audience
(Not everyone has the latest phone or the best wifi, they're watching movies for free because they can't pay)

-Do your best to use the latest most trending Netflix shows and movies as the first thing the visitor sees when they land on your website. Not random series/shows or movies.

-If you can use incentives to your visitors to refer their friends using some sort of rewards or points system so your traffic grows organically fast since Google will do everything to hide pirated movie sites in the SERP.

This is what I can think of of the top of my mind without doing a deep research on your website or your target audience.
