I use z-o-o-m to upload from an RDP server.Even after deleting the z-o-o-m data, login is still denied from my PC's IP address. What should I do?
 
Your new rule has caused all users who upload via RDP to be unable to log in. Changing the password just once results in the IP being blocked. I've waited for several hours without any response from you, and now no one can log in or upload. This new rule should be revoked immediately—if uploads and sharing are disabled, your revenue will only continue to decline. I strongly demand that my blocked IP be unblocked immediately and that I be allowed to change my password.

This is similar what happened to me since yesterday, they said they will review it today tonight only... Meanwhile I can't upload anything. I don't know why it's taking so long just to unblock.

Feedback and Concerns Regarding Frequent Policy Changes and Service Instability

Dear KatFile Support Team,

Since around June 2024, it seems that KatFile has undergone management or operational changes. However, during this period, there have been frequent and confusing modifications to the system and policies. For example, the DMCA takedown process has been changed multiple times, and it even appears to allow third parties (non-rights holders) to submit deletion requests, which has raised serious concerns among uploaders.

In addition, payment processing now includes extra transaction fees; payout rates and valid download counts for PPS/PPD were changed without prior notice; and there have been increasing delays and even multiple cases of unpaid earnings, with no response or explanation provided to affected uploaders.

Furthermore, the file retention period was suddenly shortened to three months, causing significant losses to uploaders. After strong user feedback, it was announced that the retention period would be restored to one year, but within half a year, it was quietly changed back to three months again without any notice. Moreover, KatFile has sent out several unclear promotional emails—such as claims about launching Japan- and Taiwan-specific PPD programs—which never came to fruition.

Please do not treat your users as test subjects. What uploaders truly need is stability, not constant unpredictable changes. If your team is unsure about potential outcomes before implementing new policies, I sincerely suggest consulting AI or conducting internal tests first, instead of applying unstable experiments to the live system.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I hope KatFile can regain the trust and confidence of its uploaders by ensuring consistency and reliability.

Katfile does not automatically log out like other hosts, it must be manually logged out before logging out. Even if you log in again from another computer, it will not be forcibly taken offline, and I don't know why this mechanism is set.

Yeah, for now the system is very sensitive — it automatically blocks IPs and users, but it’s only to prevent leechers. (It’s not fully ready yet, but this issue will be fixed soon once the new service is completed.)

HI .You can restore PC login and upload using Z-o-o-m from RDP server? Many uploaders rely on RDP, but using different IP will be blocked in the new mode.

I think blocking multiple IP addresses is pointless. A true " leech" has its own servers and website. Users simply register on their website, submit the download link, and the leech website will download the file. The user then retrieves the file locally from their server. Their premium accounts don't require multiple IP addresses. Downloads are handled entirely by the leech website's blogger servers.For example, ten users provide files to the Leech Blogger website for processing. After the blogger downloads them, they send them to the users through their own servers for download to their local computers.

However, real users need to use it in multiple places, for example, in Internet cafes, at home, at work, perhaps using VPN, etc. You also disabled these users.

Have they lifted the ban? I sent three days, more than a dozen emails, and there was no reply.

I was no longer able to use direct downloads with my premium account, so I checked my settings and found that a "G2FA" option had been added and direct downloads had been disabled.
I could just enable "G2FA," but why would they disable it so unilaterally?
 
I don't know why katfile added the system "G2FA". This means that users have to spend extra money to buy the software "authenticator", and then this software costs about $4 a week and $16 a month, which means that users need to spend $16 to buy the verification code software at the same time.

However, katfile costs only $23 a month. Do you think users will still buy katfile service?

If you want to log in after authentication, you can use email service authentication.

I think it will be more convenient.
