I use Google Chrome the only issue I have with it is it's very prone to malware compared to Mozilla. I like its interface though that's why I'm still using it.
 
Chrome is the best in my opinion, you don't even need flash installed if you use Chrome. However, I haven't had a chance to use the new Edge browser by Microsoft and I also heard a lot of good stuff about Vivaldi but never tried it.
 
From my experience Chrome has better performance than Firefox with several open tabs (30+) , single process for each tab in task manager make it easy to kill one tab per time if not responding .

Depends on the purpose. For general browsing Chrome seems indeed a good choice but you could as well find text based Lynx as the best in some cases where you want to keep things as simple as possible and safe as well but it only works if you are looking for textual information, news etc.
 
As of my experience chrome is good over other browser. It is easy to use and fast over Mozilla and other. Chrome gives more functionality and plugins which you can integrate for developing website.
