You wont get root access for security reasons but this is hardly what you would call a normal shared host. Firstly, there will be a maximum of 3 people and you will get a dedicated ip. This means you can easily use the server to its full potential without the shitty speeds and cap on resources...

yep, i dont need anything more powerful. like i said, i'm barely using 10% of the resources so it wouldn't make sense to upgrade the server.

They both know that their sites have passed their peak. Also, if you check both sites they have exactly the same maintenance message. I reckon they are going to try a merger to combine both their traffic and be back in the running in competing with Warez-BB. Looks like its going to happen...

I think only Firefox and Safari 3 support this at the moment. Not worth using if you are serious about it as most people use other browsers. Opt in for JS or some other method until more browsers support it.
