That is simply not true, Walter.

The more files which are uploaded means the more links which are shared and the more Wupload is spread throughout the web.

It's an interesting conspiracy, but not a great business model. :facepalm:

Last night before to sleep i RU 11 files ( about 300 - 400MB each).
And after that i haven't online again, until now. And after online again i found on the stats 2 of those files which still on root folder had download.

Well download is download and get count, but seriously Willy, these shouldn't be happened. In my opinion this is not good. I never had experienced like this with other file hostings. The files i haven't publish / post will stay and can't be download and search.

It can be happen if we make the folder public. And the files in root folder should be have protection from being search.

I hope wupload team can considered this situation and fix this issue.

Hi, bravesoldier!

This comes up frequently! If you upload a file and leave it in your root folder, it will be searchable on FilesTube and other search sites.

Put them in a folder and make sure the folder is not marked "Public" which will fix this issue.
