I never used MyBB but i used phpBB and i not love it at all (i´m a vbulletin user).

phpBB is horrible to manage mods and user rights, in the other hand i found many offcial mods to phpBB outdated or that simply not works.
Never used MyBB but seems fresh and easy to use. Anyways i recomend Vbulletin/IPB ... but i think that you need free script. :/
 
Come on man, we are talking about two free and open-source forum softwares.
You can't compare two paid forum softwares (150-170$) with two free.

Anyway, I'm using MyBB as it is very fast & secure and its settings are really easy to configure. Also, there are so many plugins that come with MyBB that makes it similar to vB and IPB. And remember: It's FREE!

use nulled vb or ipb
 
Wow, what a stupid answer. Makes no sense to what I've replied to you before..
Anyway, I have used a nulled vB in the past, no problems with that.
But, do you know that a nulled forum software can have backdoors?

Just stay on the original post.. don't give off-topic answers.
