Non-legit theme on Wordpress

Hello,I wanted to ask if it is ok to have a pirated wordpress theme on Wordpress while you're in "legal" hosting,something like hostgator etc...

Unfortunately, you can't get sued for that. Themes get leaked same day when they release them, and it's not like they care about it either. By leaking those themes, they create thousands and thousands of backlinks to the company (as they always provide author url) so yeah, they generate a lot of profit.

I agree with Jason.

And also Finding Difference Between Leaked Skin and Original skin is like needle in a haystack
 
Keep the author URL out of respect, after all you're using his creation. Give him some credit, if you don't want to buy it, you can leave the link and send him few visits.
 
WordPress Themes are totally free actually u can't get sued as all WordPress code is free to use, due to WordPress is released under GPU License, so don't worry about this ...

There can't be sue, simple as that, all WordPress content is free to use ...

Reseller Shitz at all, It's all bullshit cuz source is totally free, and u can't be sued ... you could simple create a new sale site with all other WordPress themes and sell them for 5 bucks all you should have to do to not be sued is to rename themes from css files ...
