Right now there are 2 file hosts that have spun off a second file host.

Fileserve -> uploadstation
Filesonic -> wupload

The problem with these spin off file hosts is that it gives these two file hosts more market share and enough power to lower payout rates to uploaders. Its simple economics, less choices for uploaders, means more power to filehosts. Its similar to the oil cartels, there's only so many places to get oil so people with oil can charge whatever.

In the long run, payout rates because of this will go down if people support these spin offs. Their advertised payout rates may not change, but they shave even more. The amount of money you can make with any host will drop and equalize to the point where both file hosts have the same payout rates. When they do, where will you go? You're best option will be to stick with them because you've been helping them gain more and more downloaders.

The best is having different file hosts who are run by different people who are truly competing against each other. Case in point, hotfile was the first host who really paid uploaders and they didn't have to pay much to beat Rapidshare. After hotfile, came filesonic/sharingmatric & fileserve and to compete successfully with hotfile they had to offer better rates than hotfile and thats what they did. But now that hotfile is down, fileserve and filesonic is now trying to lower the payout rates. They are doing this by spinning off more file hosts.

Hopefully people heed this warning.

I got like a 100$ bonus from them just for putting them as mirrors on my uploads @w-bb. This is WUpload I'm talking about. Nevertheless, who the fuck cares if they have the same staff? Tomato tomahto! As long as they deliver the goods.

What you're claiming only makes sense if a filehost has ever lowered its payout rate to its top tier countries, i.e. the countries marked as the most valuable markets. I don't believe such a change has ever happened at the top tier, much less the first two rungs. Filehosts, at the outset, do the math, establish their payout rates, and determine where the valuable customers are. As evidenced below, you can see which filehost is paying out more at every level.

You're use of 'warning' is a misnomer as it relates to your thread title and closing message line. You're giving a prediction. ;)

Thanks for the warning I agree Its tough to find a hoster That actually is concerned of your problems and are interested in you making money with them The bigger hosters now do as they please So I tried smaller hosts and guess what usershare and uploadstation always have problems no remote, payment problems, Depositfiles is older but very sneaky if you dont make a certain amount of sales for them they make it where people cant download your files and never ask them a question they will always come back with" Sir Please describe your problem in more detail. For the last 2 hours I cant even get at my files because everyday they say they are calculating or making vhange to there parts. I once upload some female body builders and made 16.00 in one day they had every file removed and for the next week my earnings dropped and they continue to remove files if they make you money. Someone finally broke Hotfiles back with dmca or what ever I am so glad i hope they fall apart they are very rude and scammed people a long time with the stupid platinum Yes it is getting to the point where I will do pictures and just have a private forum and make money letting people get free downloads and passwords ect.. As soon as someone can tell me a filehoster that Pays, all tools work, and treat you well please post until then I am out of this useless fight there is other ways to make money

They will shave more and you'll make less since they'll count less downloads/signups. They can offer you $100 per 1000 downloads but they will count only a few downloads or they'll stick them in a junk country group.
