Like someone mentioned, it seems there's a problem with RU (from a site/server, not from other filehosts):

Also, I would like to know if I have to change the MD5 for the files deleted by corruption.

@uzzlic you said you were leaving a week ago or so and you are still here, why?


filesonic must be addictive or something because people always says theyre leaving blah blah blah and they stay hahaha
 
today more than 100 files are removed because of Corruption!!

whats going Filesonic team? please fix this problem, seems like this will stay forever coz you guys implemented "Corruption" reason in removed section.

I can understand harddisk errors and so on.. but other hosts never had this problems (yea some had mass file deletion but not like this often)

please fix this, really hard to re-upload the split rar files! have to RAR the file again and re-upload whole files (like 10GB HD movies)

corruption does not your problem, when the coders make new copy system cause it.

copy of files = there is one original file and when its copied, system create an url/shortcut for it and if the disk has original file is DOWN/crashed, all urls linked to this file are DEAD

this system is good for filesonic solved too many dublicated files and keep away cost of
peta bytes of disk and keep away from bandwith or loading of servers. One problem
was when original copy is dead all of urls are dead.

Same here.
In fact, FileServe has the "404-landing" error so FileSonic has the files deletion for "Corruption". What the hell is that???? :(
I bought a premium account to have a secure storage for my files but lots of them were deleted for "corruption".
THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM. PLEASE FIX IT!!

Is there any secure host out there??? Anybody knows any host where I can upload files in a premium account as backup and never lost them for some fuc**** reason???? X-(

Yes, I know that how this file storage works, If I upload a movie and other user upload the same movie (same file size and all) that storage will keep only one movie file because it contain same MD5 Hash, even if 1000 people upload the same file, it will direct to that one file which has the same MD5 Hash.

but what I am asking is.. why this problem in Filesonic ? why they didnt fix this problem ?

its not like this in any other Host, Only in Filesonic...

today more than 100 files removed because of this, most of the files are different different part of rar files, which I have to re-upload more than 100GB now.

this is waste of time.. also not all are uploading to earn something, some upload their stuff for secure storage, back-up and so on...

filesonic team must understand this situation and fix this problem soon..

I was just tired of users reporting the same problem over and over again.

FSC knows corrupted files sucks, but I guess we will have to live with users posting a message about it every few hours until it is fixed :(
 
no solution for corrupted files, only solution is bacup of them means realy huge cost for them (hundreds of peta bytes of data). Because of this, i do not belive it will be solved.

Totally agree.
I bought a lifetime premium for secure storage and don't have it.
