1 server? You'll start a 'filehosting business' with 1 server and you want to know the conversion rates? You don't know the first thing about filehosting. I suggest you quit on the idea while you're ahead.

Please don't do it. I imagine it is a lot less then 300:1. Probably in the high thousands:1 signup. You'll need many more servers then that with more power.

Maybe making a business strategy will help you get an overview of all expenses etc. you'll need to know about.
Just try to think for yourself; FileServe gives all members 500GB of space. Now let's say that 10 members signs up and uploads 500GB each, that's 5TB (5000GB), and you've already manage to (almost) fill your one-server disc. Good luck..

and what do you think if I buy server at net100tb - I heard that megaupload have servers there

8 GB RAM
6x1.5TB SATA HDD (Raid)
1 GigE (1000Mbit) Dedicated Port
100 TB Premium Bandwidth!

That is good right? I can start there

In example above hard drive is 6x1 TB
Well 6TB of files will probably generate some revenue right?

Things to .. think about
- What's your budget? (Domain, servers, advertisement, employees,
- Are you experienced technicians, or do you have to hire someone?
- Do you have to rent a server park, or will you buy all servers through resellers?
- What about people who upload illegal copyrightet material?
- What's your goal with your filehost, and how will you achieve them?
- etc.

i suggest you to open a hosting company instead dude :/ filehost require lot of capital.. and time :) + you haz a lot of competitors so :/

yeah if you have a big money with you just hire 1 or more partner then you can share with him for his hardwork and you will also learn from him

or else really start a legal site to earn money warez is waste of time and money
