Where are the servers located?
WALNUT, CALIFORNIA(USA) and Frankfurt , Germany.

How long does it take to set up an account?
Shared Hosting orders are set up automatically in less than 5/min.

Can I host/register domains?
Yes you can register domains,they will be instantly setup in less then 1 min.

Can I use an existing domain?
Yes. You can. Just set your nameservers from the welcome email.

How do I access my Cpanel control panel?
You can login to your Cpanel control panel at http://yoursite.com/cpanel where yoursite is your own domain name.

What are the nameservers for the current machine?
Please check the welcome email.

How do I FTP into my account?
First you must obtain an FTP program such as Filezilla or WS_FTP. Once you have an FTP program, type in yourdomain.com as the host address. Supply your username and password in the according fields. Once logged in, you have complete access to your account..

Where are my statistics?
Click the report button after logging into Cpanel and hit the Webalizer/Awstats option. This will open a new window to Webalizer/Awstats with all your statistics for that domain.

What is the full path to my cgi-bin?
/home/username/public_html/cgi-bin.

Which folder do I load my web pages to?
You should place all of your web documents in the public_html directory.

What version of Perl comes installed on your servers?
Perl 5.8.8

What is the Path to Perl?
/usr/bin/perl

What version of PHP comes installed on your servers?
PHP 5.2.15

Path to Send Mail?
/usr/sbin/sendmail

I've uploaded my site and still see Index of/ ...?
You are still seeing the default page set up when you ordered your hosting plan through us. Make sure to upload your index.html or index.php page, then your site should resolve correctly.

How long does it take for my DNS changes to update world wide?
Normally you can expect to see your web site DNS to change within 24 hours once you have made the modifications at your registrar. However, we have seen it take up to 7 days in some cases where registrars and ISPs are a little slower.

Are proxies allowed?
Only private ones are allowed. No public proxies are allowed.

Is adult content allowed?
Yes. Legal Adult Content is allowed. All models must be over 18.

Is Rapid Leech Allowed?
No. We do not allow Rapid Leech on our servers.

Is IRC Allowed?
No. We do not allow IRC or IRC Bots on our servers.

Iam using AQUICKHOST From 3months & Didnt got any downtime since iam using video scripts...Very good Support by Admin and very fast and reliable hosting ever i seen...

I doubt he had a company since then since there was an archive of his site, or even search engine results he probably had it since then or just purchased it from elsewhere.

Well seems like a new host. The domain may seem old but they are using HostBill and their forums are empty. The first two replies seem really fake.

Hi SmokHost, yes we are a new host with this domain, but we have been in hosting industry for long, so we are talking here about experience not longevity of the domain.

The germany server is hosted by urgentvps, you got it correct, i had recently bought a server from them. Our usa server however is hosted by Psych Networks. Servers are not overloaded since we are just getting good customer base right now. We promise to upgrade per need as we go along.

u on urgent VPS what ram max you use ..urgent VPS only max 1.5 GB and i think you not on 1,5 gb ram ..that no enough and bad for webhosting service

to start webhosting service min you must have 2gb ram << this to is not good coz will be slowly and lagg the server vps..

recomended good hosting if have 4Gb ram or more ..r

Yes we understand that high ram is needed, but for a start we think UrgentVPS is good as they provide hardware level DDoS protection from Rio Rey technologies. Which is really essential for warez sites. UrgenVPS provides dedi servers too if upgrades are needed.

they have/had the smallest protection of hardware from riorey(but it cost $20 grand for it, I know they were leasing it), but I believe they moved to a new data center a few months ago so I don't think think they still have riorey I had a vps, then I got a dedicated server through them, I got a ddos attack of 200-300mbit/s which wasn't much at all as they stated they would protect up to 1gbit/s and they suspended my server, and told me I was affecting the network, I told them there services were crap, I told them to refund my money, they canceled my account, didn't refund my money, and screwed me out of $250 and then had the nerve to threaten me with legal action saying I had to pay for bandwidth from the ddos attack, I told them sue me all they want, I have a laywer and I am taking legal action aginst them for fraud and not refunding me, I have been going back and forth for 6-8+ months from this company, if yo go on webhostingtalk you will see many people have had the same problems.. so if you an attack expect to get canceled or pay lots of money. Brent is the fraud of the company, oh and there 24/7 support number is a joke it rings for 30+ minutes then no one ever picks up, it's a 1-2 man show.

I got proof of disputes I had with them via paypal if you wanna see proof I was a customer.

Stay far away from urgent vps they are UK scammers and like to take US customers moneys because they are far away, until I sue them for every penny they got.

Are you sure about this? Personally i think they are a good provider..
Proofs would make it sure that they did scam you.

I am trying to find the paypal records, as paypal disputes only go back 15 days, I'm looking through 100k transactions, It would help if I could remember about the time frame.

100k transcations was just in the past 1.5 years.. I've had a paypal account for 12 years, I have over 1 million+ :)

After 30 minutes I found a way to search several year old disputes, which is nice for future things.

The sad part is they won because it was a digital item which is ridiculous if I didn't require paypal for my business I wouldn't use this after all the business I have done with this company and not to do it in my favor, very sad.

They screwed me on, $109.11, I thought it was more, but still I only got like 5-7 days worth of service, I didn't want a full refund, just un-used services.

SCREW URGENTVPS.
