Obviously you arent going to get kicked on the street. As with all hosts, shit happens. Knowinservers isnt hailed a great host for no reason - Weather the tables are lost of not you will be 100% compensated for the down time - And on top of that you'll be compensated for any possible data you may have lost. You arent going to get a sugarcoated reason why this may have happened - All hosts have a few speed bumps here and there, and I'm sorry that this happened to you.
@ ihate - Like i mentioned in the topic , was treated well by knowinservers , always got positive information / reply , but the server going down for hours each day is really annoying especially with my coder charging me per day which ain't cheap + the fact that my databases crashed due to server issues & site down again when i was told there won't be any more problems is really Ahhhhh.
@viruz .... it sucks to be you ..... but everyone has ups and down ... it's a different thing that even u had to face the same and lose so much of money .... and i suggest you to try to get the things back up so that yu can atleast get your database ? ... and stuff ...
knowin is well known over here and they can compensate ... but they can never compensate the time you spent ... so the thing with you do is to decide weather you are going to get back on the site and fix it no matter what by spending more time .. or leave it as you had enough of it ... if you do want to fix it then just w8 man ....

The shared hosting was just a temporary solution as i was low on money - would upgrade to vps soon when i have enough
Edit : When i move to another server/vps , would i have to wait for 48 hours for domain to propagate etc ? or will i be able to work on the site ?
Was saving money for 2 vps - one for site + 1 for RDP ( uploading) , now will have to pay coder extra xD
Everything was planned - got fckd up :
1. Buy shared hosting
2. get coder to fix site (1-2 days )
3. Post all my stuff in 4-5 days
4. Pay my designers + coder the rest in another week
5. Buy VPS/RDP for uploading
6. Move site to new Vps by next month
Now i have to pay coder for 6-7 days + pay the money i owed ( 1 week later )
So, bye bye my 2 Vps :P ( My Planning Epic Failed )

My sites also hosted dere It was just downtime from data center in this case no one cannot do anything ..Now everything is fine + they r now getting one more big server in 2 days

SOrry to hear that, i m hosted with them (Extreme-Warez.Org), its down,
Knowinservers has been always a best host to host with..i m using their vps for 2 months now and no downtime at all with good speeds also, they are having issue with the DC and he is trying to get a new server from another DC, so have patience! i know its very bad to have ur site down for long time, as u have paid for it, but no one can help coz its the problem of the DC..

Thats pathetic. Not caring about a clients data is the worst a host could do, downtime may happen at times.
