Its not going to help my customers either... me paying 15 a month wont affect them at all other than perhaps make me go up on my prices.

I haven't said that paying for WHMCS license would help you solve server related problem. I said your clients would trust you more if you pay for the Software you are using.
If you want to be a Hoster you need to be a System Administrator. You need the required knowledge, so the whole point is. You need to invest in your business if you want to earn money. If you have no server administration related knowledge, you need to get yourself a SysAdmin. And lots of other things, web hosting is a tricky business. It's not for everyone.
You dont seem to understand how a company works
Show something to your clients? mmm you run a web design "company" obviously you have to have a good website, you arent really getting a plus or something.
Again if you cant afford a $15 licence try to be more professional and better web design will help you too that way you might get more clients, so you can afford a licence.

The site didnt start out as hosting. i already went over this. i dont think a 5 star site is really needed for hosting so your welcome to take back your insult at anytime. I dont think i been un pro yet, yes a little in this thread but the reason i would say is somehitng to get upset about. other than that how am i not being pro?

Exacly and i fail to see how 15 a month for whmcs helps them? Im pretty sure the client si have now wont even notice if i went and paid right now.

Come on Eric, don't play those mindfuck games. As most of us already said. If you want to be a good hoster you need to have knowledge, workers, you need to invest, you need to know the law.
If you rent a server from some Datacenter you can't say that you own a company. Why?
- It's not registered in real life.
- You can't do anything if police seizes the server.
- You're just a client from the Datacenter.
- Anyone can rent a server.
- If you have outage at all it's because of your server related problems. Not some network problems. Even though WJunction Hosters always says that problem was network related.
Basically, everyone who rents a server from some Datacenter is called 'reseller'. Because he's reselling their services.

How come it has nothing to do with the thread? You said you own a 'Web Hosting Company'. So, how do you own it if you're renting a server? What do you offer that WorldStream doesn't offer? What should stop people from renting a server directly from WorldStream. Or Shared hosting from some other guy who is renting his server from WorldStream? All of you would have same uptime, and same everything. Basically, that's just plain reselling and nothing else.

You guys here demanding that i pay the money do you "trust me" isnt making me care any more. I fail to see why i should want any of you has clients. Most of you know me well enough to know if you can trust me or not, what WHMCS has to do with it... i have no clue. And comments like Dlow left... i dont want has a client... so ill just still to the way i run my company now its not let me down yet, worked well for Vasthtml and its not doing bad for since83.

After reading this thread, I think there's no more point on arguing that you don't need a license.
I understand you don't need it because you are not gonna use the support as they won't be providing.
But its not only about support.
You don't have a warez site, you have a legal business. So its better to get a license for it just to show it to anyone in future if needed.
Another idea would be invest for a license for a month, it would give you clear cut idea whether you actually want it or not. There's no question of its need, in the whole thread you have been trying to explain that you don't need it.

since whmcs does not cost alot, there's no reason not to pay for it. if you are a "company" what is a measly 15$ / month? -- if you don't want to pay monthly, buy an owned license like I did.
If you supposedly can't use "updates" because of your custom "theme", that's why you can buy an owned license, there's no reason to used null.
Using nulled software is just an excuse, because it really just means you are too cheap to buy the software.
By the way, having a custom theme is no reason not to update, it's just a choice. -- if you know so much about whmcs and such, then you would know that whmcs rarely makes changes to the key templates (used for the homepage, css, etc). And when they do make changes they have a chance log, and usually put the changes on a new line.
either way, just do what you want to do. no one really cares to be honest, and you'll never agree with what people are telling you.
