Hello CloudShadow

I am just new to this type of uploading, can you please explain a bit what is a difference between RDP and VPS. I don't know much about this, hope you won't mind giving your few minutes.

Thanks.

A Windows VPS is just like your home computer but it has a very fast internet connection. You can download and upload at very large speeds. you have full control over the activities of the VPS and can install anything on it.

and RDP on the other hand is also like a VPS but the only difference is that resources of a RDP server are shared amount 10-15 people usually so speeds vary a lot. Also you dont have any administrative rights i.e you cant install new things by yourself.

VPS tend to be expensive, while RDPs are cheaper

So if someone buy a VPS then is it that his own PC configuration needs to higher to run a VPS...???
A noob question...:|

I am also new to this VPS & RDP stuff...
Is there any tutorial available for this for affiliates like us...

No. There is no relation between the hardware of you pc and with that on the VPS.

You just need to be sure that you have a good internet connection and your ping to the VPS server is good.

Yeah it'll be fine.

before buying an RDP, always make sure that you get a demo first and use it for a couple of hours. Only then buy it.

Also make sure that you get it from a trusted seller and not just another guy out there. read the reviews of other users who have bought some slots.

last but not least, if a server is being sold for a very cheap amount then it will be oversold i.e sold to a lot of users. This will reduce your server speeds and every other thing. Try to get a decent priced RDP, 100Gb for 30$ and use it. Dont fall for the 10$ ones as they are pathetic.

Well I will not be buying so early because my uploads are very small in size...
If i would purchase then i will go with VPS but that will be later...
Still in a learning phase...

Your files are small because you have a slow connection but why would you upload small files if you have fast internet?

I would suggest you to buy RDP first, it may not be like VPS but you would good idea how does it works and what can you do with VPS. You could upload big file in the same time you upload small files now but you would have better premium conversions and more downloads as big files are usually most wanted and famous.

Yes we try our best to help our newbie affiliates to get started in this world. There is nothing special to upload, all users upload books, games, movies, TV shows, documentaries, pictures etc.

All you need to do is just watching out for new stuff and post them to other sites immediately, you can find new stuff at some torrent sites like thepiratebay.

VPS/RDP is best for you because it takes more time if you first download the file and then upload to your favorite host. If you have RDP you can simply remote upload fastly and thus saves times and earn you more money.
The bad thing this month was that there was no big games release. I've been uploading older games and they dont get as many downloads. :(
You can increase your number of uploads to compensate your downloads or some small files can also cover up a bit and give you some decent number of downloads along with your big files.

But if I remote upload then will I be able to edit the files inside the rar...
Suppose I want to promote my site then will I be able to put my links in the file...

And VPS is like another PC right....where you normally first download and then upload....??

Correct me if I am wrong...

No, you can't rename before uploading but once in your account you can rename the filename (currently not available in MS) but I think you still won't be able to edit the filename inside RAR.

You don't need to download a file either on your own PC or VPS if you are remote uploading. VPS will just provide you highest upload speed and you can manage it like your own PC.

Actually a Windows based VPS would be just like your home pc. You will first download anything as you normally do and then upload to multiple hosts like you usually do at your home.

A windows based VPS is just like a very faster version of your home computer

Just got the answer what I was looking for from you guys...
I was a bit concerned about my hardware requirements and internet connection because I once used my friends PC through Remote Desktop Connection and it was too laggy and at that time I didn't knew what was the reason that it is laggy...

But now Cloud has already answered that there is no connection with my hardware and VPS....:)

Now I can learn further about them...

Thank You All For Helping...:)

When do you guys exactly pay? Every first day of a month?

Regards,
We pay at the end of the each month.

Yes, infact VPS meant for those who don't have faster computers so it's best option for you.

Just a word of advise, you need to have some knowledge about VPS before using it. Go for Managed VPS for starters. As time goes by and you're confiding using VPS fully without any help, you can opt for an unmanaged VPS.
