Advice for webmasters!

What do you expect from your site?

I've been on the w scene for a while and I've seen a lot!

Some webmasters don't even pay for hosting and have more than 10 ads, popups, fakes, etc. on their sites! I really dont understand why they do that.

They post any shit and dont even take the time to check the forums/blogs, update.

I will give you some advices!

Clean your sites, don't add too many ads unless you pay for a dedi or some like that.
Submit clean posts, at least clean your titles.
take the time to read the rules of the ddl sites you submit.
Check your links before submitting (it doesnt take too much), also you can use any ff pluging to do that or wgtools link checker.

I know why some sites never grow, and why will always be a mess.
Focus on your site, spend time on it.

that's why lot of sites never get more than 1 or 2 stars on any ddl site.

Try to be professional.

yes i guess depending everything on Plugins and link checker doesn't work..!
+1 for reason about Sites which do not grow..!
 
If everyone gets serious as what you said Santa then no one will pray Santa to make there site 5 star on DDL sites, they would rather make there own community strong like other big sites.
 
well said man i just say that you don't have to rely only on ddl there are many ways of getting traffic and yeah you don't have to be a five star to have a community.there are so many forum which looks like they are dead it would have been better if the owner would have done a blog instead of a forum :D
