Make the "Webmaster Hangout" word a little faded like in the original. The bold color doesn't look good.

Also, the logo background is plain. The current logo background has some designs.

Lighting not consistent between elements, poor spacing, Santa hat doesn't "Fit" diamond - You couldn't even be arsed to to crop the drop shadow off of the hat either! GFXer? Hhmmm. >_<

No creativity & with even an ounce of thought shouldn't have taken more than a minute to paste that together as it is.
