Lol Rew, that's actually very common and the standard for asian servers. I would explain, but I'm just going to say do your research.

Also, it should be a DEDICATED 1Mbps port, which doesnt sound like much but usually shared hosts are on 100mbps shared with hundreds of sites :P

Lastly, most sites don't ever go above the 1mbps unless when downloading and uploading.
