SpeedBox offers pre-configured dedicated seedboxes, allowing clients to seed with the speed they expect. Our servers are currently hosted in the OVH datacenter in Roubaix, France, who offer some of the best peering in the world with a backbone of over 400gbps.
What is a seedbox?
A seedbox is a server used for downloading and uploading digital files, with the advantage of being connected to a high speed network. Servers are up 24/7 and thus you have the advantage of not having to leave your home computer on.
So what do you get?
All of our servers come with the following:
- Dedicated private server - you are the only one using the resources!
- Windows Remote Desktop
- uTorrent + WebUI
- WinRAR & Mozilla Firefox
- FTP access to your files
- Password-protected HTTP access to your files
- 100mbps connection
With Remote Desktop, you can connect to the server via your computer and control it as if you were sitting in front of it! As it is a dedicated server, you can do anything you wish - you can also upload and download from filehosts such as FileServe, Rapidshare, MegaUpload, HotFile, etc. You can encode, make thumbnails, and install programs as you wish!
Alternatively, for advanced users, Ubuntu is available for a reduced cost with none of the above set up - you install and manage the server yourself.

Why do the prices seem so expensive?
Remember, running Windows requires a license - which in this case is a £17 fee - and then the whole price of the server+license must undergo tax (VAT). Setup fees are only a one-time fee - so if you wish to renew in the future, you simply pay the non-setup fee. Plus, you get the help you need through our MSN support.
