I don't know if this is appropriate or in the right section, but I would like to warn fellow hosters for the following two members:

QuickSand
Goldie

(Might be the same person)

Quicksand replies in every offer thread 'add me MSN or PM me' but actually never buys something. Just suggests sites to look at.

Goldie came back to five times for a trial and left always with some kind of remark. Then I banned him on MSN, but came back (same routine) on Yahoo.

Don't waste your time on these two.

this matter should be cleaned up with the new rules being enforced some point this week
as to QS i've seen this alot and this will also be sorted with the new rules wjunction will be having
 
I got him on MSN, and I think it's just the way he is, I already had to make him like 500 dedicated server offers. He always does like he's going to buy it, but actually I just wasted tons of my time.

Anyways thanks for pointing him. He always trolls here and there and when he can't argue any further then he just starts saying sorry and forgive me.

I think sniff he is a 13 year old kid ;)

I am on another forum (not warez related) and there they have the option of ignoring which works pretty good.

It places a banner on the top of the post of those you ignore.
 
People like that build up contacts of 200+ people on their MSN
so that they can build trust and eventually they ask for favours.
(not saying he will but I have experienced this before)
 
I've seen QuickSand do this a lot of my threads. He asked to become an uploader for my site then never replied to me, I think they are just post count boosting and as iHate said, trying to build up some sort of trust to ask for loans or favours, then there is a 90% chance they scam you.
 
Quick Sand : Also replied in my adspot thread and the said he want to buy adspot from me but when I sent him pm then he never replied :(
It seem to be that there is something wrong.
Ppls should be alert about it :)

Well, as I said Goldie does the same thing. Asks over and over again for trials. Then says 'Your server is oversold'. Then comes back for another trial after a couple of days.

Then I blocked him on MSN, then came back on Yahoo. Same routine.

I told to GTFO and he said 'Oh sorry' .. and left.
 
New rules have being introduced since the start of this topic. Next time it happens to anyone report it and we'll give an infraction to try and get them to stop wasting people time.
 
Quick Sand pretty much has one fixed reply in every thread: "Please PM me your msn, will discuss about offer"

It's pretty obvious that one person cannot buy from every seller in hosting and marketplace section. I guess it must be real annoying for sellers when people waste their time like this.
