Why delete all you old files? If you think your rank will improve I think you are so wrong.
What if somebody want to download those files. You are making hotfile a short term filehost. think about the downloaders. even 2 years after you uploaded somebody may want to download those files.

It's a bit selfish of you if all you care about is rank and in the process delete old files. Think about the downloaders too. Many downloaders look for those old rare files which you want to delete to improve rank.

From my experience, If you are at platinum or gold and start deleting your files, rank will be dropped.

Yeah, that what you all want, just copy some random files and posts, and spam it on forums without even knowing what's inside those files.
If you ask me I would remove remote upload from all filehosts.
