Hello Everyone

i made this thread to discuss very wierdest thing happen to me on hotfile.com i have using this file hosting for about two month as a free user and going well as every one else but today when i was uploading my files as usual suddenly my hotifle account logged out automatically. then i try to log in again but i failed its say " bad username/password Combination "..then i tried to use the forgot password option of the site and was shocked that they didnt even recognised the email i registered with...by facing this i m really stumped i dont know wat to do i have never shared my password or use it anywhere else so no chance of hacking of my account and even if some hacked my account it can not change my email without the passcode option that sent to registered email..

proof that i had an account with hotfile as they are regularly sending me hotfile abuse mails which they usually send on deleting copyright materials on registered email addresses

i have contacted the hotfile for this matter but no reply is made yet..can anyone hav an idea or any suggestion that wat have happend with my account suddenly...

It's impossible to take over an HF account without access to your email account. The hacker must have hacked your email account first.

Try to login to your email account immediately and see if you can still login. If you can, don't waste any time and change the password now.

If it's a premium account and you bought it from Hotfile via paypal, then try contacting HF support staff in a professional manner with proof of purchase like paypal transaction screenshot etc. and ask them to reset the password. Do not! offend their staff and they will usually cooperate.

If it's a free account, kiss it goodbye.
 
may be someone knw ur mail a/c password.
thts y he get validation code and change a/c.
change ur mail account also to save ur other info.

lol do u know how big hf is ?dre is a reason they cashout every month !i'm getting aprox 45 to 60$ per month frm hf wt over 2.6 tb data uploaded.

imho his pc has been keylogged :)):)):))

do we even need this thread <_<

Ya Praz is rite..bcoz few month earlier mine a/c got hacked too. & i recover it..Someone hacked ur email address,,its for sure...
 
You have to give your that email Id which is you use at the time of registration. If you change your email Id after the registration and you put this email Id for password recovery I don't think It works.
