i gave up half way through, but wanted to reply and move on.

First off you insult HF for whatever reasons you think your correct. You are sharing a premium account. Just because your using 1 IP does not make you right. Makes you small minded, or ignorant.

Ways to share 1 IP, proxy, lan.. etc, your still sharing the connection.

Bitching about a 200GB limit (daily) after your profiting off there 10$ a month accounts, is just whiny and as you stated 'unprofessional'.

I pay 30$ per 500GB on my dedicated server, so 200GB * 30 = 6000GB / 500 = 12 * 30 = 360$ per month in bandwidth (of course they have cheaper bandwidth but thats not the point. The point is ur extremely greedy.

the fact you cry about a 200GB daily limit and talk about how RS is WAY better with a 5GB a day limit, is ridicules at best.
The OP wasn't questioning the sharing so much but the use of the term "unlimited".

But I do question the broadness you put into the term sharing, by your definition, downloading a file through hotfiles service and reuploading would be classed as sharing and valid grounds for termination of your account. For this is essentially what Rapidpremium does, albeit automated, the same. I believe the ignorant one here to be you, try understanding the subject before making senseless/uninformed comments.

Again you miss the point entirely. The OP is not whining about the 200GB download limit, by all means, its their service and have every right to enforce whatever limits they wish. The problem here is these limits are not mentioned, even in the fine print of the site, on the contrary, they describe the service as "unlimited" and therefore they are intentionally misleading people in order to sell their service.

5GB is of-course a pathetic limit, but I have 100x more respect for a company selling a service accurately than one which chooses to mislead and omit facts in order to get sales.

You gave up because your argument is void.

talking to a wall will get you no where.. but what the heck.

When the owner of the account goes and downloads a file, the file goes onto the server and then the owner downloads from the server. This is NOT sharing.

Now when a guest/member of the site goes and does the same thing, this is called sharing. Its indirect sharing. But sharing non the less. Just because this sharing is automatted by a 3rd party does not make it non sharing.

No the limits are not mentioned on the site, you have proven your ability to read! but they are mention via email. Possibly if you were not stupid you could contact them and ask for the limit. Since all non-retards are smart enough to understand unlimited is IMPOSSIBLE.

Huh.. hotfile is the first company to do this eh? Cause the tobacco industry told you it will give you cancer if you smoke when it first came out? Coca-cola tells you it will make you fat if you drink it all day? Microsoft tells you half their software doesn't work right until 1 or 2 service packs?

You gave up because your argument is void.

You stated this all by yourself? Good for you!

Another ignorant poster. You're clearly missing the point. And added to that, you've assumed a fair bit of stuff, here.

No one is/was profiting off the concerned service. I operated it, with no adverts, nothing. So, I did not profit off it. That's a blatant assumption on your part, and thus 'unprofessional'.

I have dedicated servers too. And yes, I pay money for bandwidth, too. I pay for Rapidshare's TrafficShare bandwidth ($125 for 2.5TB). You stated, based on pure assumption, that I'm greedy. You don't have the facts. You don't have any idea of how much I pay, or what I'm willing to pay. What i AM bitching about, is their policies, and their lies. They don't mention anything about a bandwidth limit. They do not offer additional bandwidth for purchase, either (yes, I contacted them asking about a custom plan with paid, limited bandwidth. They simply banned my account as a response. That's professional, right?). So what gives?

RS IS way better, because they have their policies outlined CLEARLY. Read that - CLEARLY! You seem to have a problem grasping the point of a thread.

Ridicules much?

Well assuming is fun.

I am ASSUMING u did not notice this: http://premium.rpnet.biz/premium.html just for your referencer its on your main site, on the gateway page.

You are completely right, a 5GB daily stated limit is WAY better then a 200GB daily non stated limit. lol.

cool.

You would have been better off not answering at all, by answering with this utter crap, you've just proven your ignorance. Good job.

Another assumption, lol.

They banned accounts that were operated on the public service. The public service was a non profit set up. You don't seem to realize that. You instead go out of your way to relate it to an entirely different service. Good job.

Yes, a 5GB stated daily limit (with the capability to expand) is way better than a rip off 200gb unstated limit, which (if crossed), results in your account being banned. lol.

Wouldn't waste your breath on this one (immortalxx), logic and sense are clearly lost on him 8-)
